The 1Zero Magnetic Wall Mount is worth buying if your hands are always full and you need your phone at eye level while cooking, showering, or working out. It peels and sticks to any smooth surface with no drilling, and it held my phone steady even when I opened the cupboard it was stuck beside. Buy it.

I opened the cupboard right next to it and the phone stayed right where I put it. That was the whole test I cared about. Having my phone accessible wherever I need it, recipe at eye level, zero hand-wiping, is why this mount works: it doesn’t budge when cabinet doors open or when flour flies.
Buy if you:

- rent and can’t put screws in tile or cabinets

My Hands Are Always Full
That’s the problem. Every time. I’m mid-recipe, phone’s face-down on a wet counter, and I’m wiping my hands off for the fourth time just to scroll one step. So when I got gifted this 1Zero Magnetic Wall Mount (see it on Amazon), the first thing I did was stick it up near where I actually cook.
Phone goes up, phone stays up, and I haven’t touched it to reposition it once. That nine-times-a-day hand-wiping ritual is just gone.
Peel, Press, Walk Away for a Day
Installation is a wipe, a press, and a wait. You get an alcohol pad in the box, you clean the spot, let it dry completely, peel the backing, and hold it down for about 10 seconds. Then the instructions want 24 hours of cure time before you hang anything on it.
You can stick this on any smooth surface. Tile, glass, a mirror, metal, marble, glossy cabinet doors. No screws. No anchors. No landlord conversation.
It comes with a ring that you can put right on your phone or your case, which will then make it MagSafe. So if you’re on an older phone or a case without magnets built in, you’re not locked out. The ring handles it.
The Cupboard Slam Test
I can open the cupboard and it’s gonna stay right here. That was the moment that sold me on it, because cabinet doors jolt things. A stand on the counter gets bumped. A propped phone slides. This one didn’t move.
A lot of times as I’m cooking I need a recipe, and this is where I need it. Not down by the cutting board getting flour on it. Up, at eye level, out of the mess. Same logic works in a bathroom on the mirror or on a smooth gym surface, which is exactly how 1Zero pitches it, and I’d believe it based on how the magnet grabs.
One thing about magnetic strength here: the hold comes from the mount’s magnets meeting your case’s magnets. A thick non-MagSafe case without the included ring is going to feel weaker. That’s physics, not a defect.
The One-Shot Adhesive
Pick your spot carefully, because you only get one. 1Zero says it straight on the listing: the adhesive is for one-time application and isn’t meant to be repositioned or reused. That’s the real catch with any mount magsafe adhesive setup.
So before you peel anything, hold your phone up where you think it should go. Stand where you’d be standing. Check you can read the screen without leaning. Then stick it. Slapping it up and deciding two inches left would’ve been better is how you waste the mount.
The 24-hour cure is the other bit of patience required. I’d rather that than a mount that drops a phone onto tile on day three.
