Our Lymphedema Therapy services are tailored to each client with an individualized program. Lymphedema is a condition that causes swelling in the body due to a build up of lymphatic fluid.
The programs consist of Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) which involves manual lymphatic drainage, multilayered lymphedema bandaging, exercise, compression pump and garment fitting. The end result of treatment being the ability to reduce and manage the condition for a successful return to everyday activities and functions.
Our occupational therapist provides the Skills2Care® service which is an evidence-based program developed by Thomas Jefferson University for individuals with dementia and their caregivers.
Our experienced occupational therapists provide valuable information on how to manage challenging behaviors, teach self care techniques for the caregiver, and create a safe and supportive environment for both the caregiver and the individual with dementia.
For individuals with Parkinson’s disease, we offer the LSVT BIG program, a research-based program designed to improve motor function and mobility. Our certified LSVT BIG therapists use repetitive exercises, segmented tasks and intensive training to help clients with Parkinson’s improve their ability to perform daily skills and increase their overall quality of life.
