The Everlasting Comfort memory foam cushion is worth buying if you sit six or more hours a day and your chair is the problem, not your posture. The memory foam responds in real time instead of flattening, and it’s backed by a 30-day money-back guarantee plus a lifetime replacement policy. Measure your seat first.

How this review was made: written from my own video review of this product. Every opinion here is my own, from using it myself.

Quick Verdict

I pressed the foam on camera and watched it come back in real time, which is the thing cheap cushions never do. For me it makes editing more comfortable. But a cushion adds height, so your desk setup still needs to work for you.

Buy if you:

  • Sit 6+ hours a day editing, gaming, or at a desk job
  • Have tailbone pressure and want the U-shaped cutout at the back
  • Want one cushion that moves between office chair, couch, and car seat
  • Care about the 30-day money-back guarantee and lifetime replacement policy

I Almost Bought a New Chair Instead

A decent office chair runs $400 minimum, and I was about to pull the trigger when I realized I’d never actually fixed what I was sitting on, just the chair around it. The Everlasting Comfort cushion (see it on Amazon) was the cheaper experiment, and as an OT I’d tell a client the same thing. Fix the surface before you replace the furniture.

The U-Shaped Cutout Goes at the Back

Orientation matters, and people get it backwards. The U-shaped cutout goes at the back, under your tailbone. That’s the whole point of the shape: your coccyx floats in open air instead of pressing down into the seat pan, and your weight redistributes across the sit bones where it belongs. Those two bony points are built to carry load. Your tailbone isn’t.

Does the foam actually bounce back?

Yes. I pressed it on camera and you can watch the foam responding in real time instead of staying dented. That’s the test I run on every cushion that comes through here, because high-density memory foam and the cheap stuff look identical in a photo and behave nothing alike after a month. The cheap stuff takes a set. You sit, it compresses, and three weeks later there’s a permanent crater where your weight lives. This one came back while I was still filming. For me it makes editing more comfortable, and more to the point, it’s still doing it after repeated sessions rather than going flat.

Strapping It On, Then Checking Your Desk

Setup takes about a minute, and then comes the part most people skip. The dual adjustable straps have extension pieces and handle chairs up to 32 inches wide, which covers most office and gaming chairs plus a car seat. Cinch them and the cushion stops sliding forward every time you stand.

Here’s the catch I flagged on camera. A cushion adds height. Your seated position goes up, which means your armrest height, your monitor line, and your keyboard angle all shift. If you were already at the top of your chair’s adjustment range, you may end up typing with your wrists angled up and your shoulders creeping toward your ears. Drop the chair a notch before you decide the cushion doesn’t work. Check the Tucker’s dimensions and see if it fits your chair before you order.

The Lifetime Replacement Policy Is the Real Insurance

Foam cushions die of flattening, and that’s exactly what the warranty covers. They offer a free lifetime warranty, a free 30-day money-back guarantee, and free shipping. So the failure mode you’d worry about on a long-term purchase is the one they’ve committed to. The 30 days is your fit window for the height issue above. The lifetime piece is your insurance against the foam giving up in year three.

Timing and Which One to Get

The price moves around enough that the number I saw when testing may not be what you see today, click through and check before assuming it’s still at the lower end of its range. Sales have picked up too: it’s at #39,845 in Office Products against a 90-day average of #76,818, with more than 100 bought in the past month.

On version choice, Everlasting Comfort sells both the seat cushion I’m using and a contoured comfort lumbar support pillow for the backrest. If your pain is at the tailbone, you want the seat cushion with the cutout. Plenty of people run both. Check today’s price on Amazon and match the one to where it hurts.

Pros

  • Foam responds in real time instead of staying compressed
  • U-shaped cutout takes direct pressure off the tailbone
  • Dual adjustable straps with extensions fit chairs up to 32 inches wide
  • 30-day money-back guarantee, free shipping, and a lifetime replacement policy
  • Moves between desk chair, couch, and car seat without re-buying

Cons

  • Adds height to your seated position, so your desk, armrests, and monitor need rechecking
  • You have to measure your seat first; fit isn’t guaranteed across every chair
  • High-density foam reads firm, not plush, if soft is what you wanted

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use it in my car as well as at my desk?

Yes, the straps are built for car seats as well as office and gaming chairs. It’s lightweight enough to move between the two. If you commute long and then sit to edit, one cushion covers both.

How do I clean memory foam like this?

Spot clean the cover and keep the foam core dry. Memory foam doesn’t go in a washing machine, and soaking it wrecks the density that makes it work. Wipe, air dry fully, done.

The listing positions it for sciatica too, and the reasoning holds: shifting weight onto the sit bones reduces pressure along the back of the thigh where the nerve runs. That said, sciatica has a lot of causes and a cushion treats the seating part only. If it’s new or worsening, get it looked at.

What if it doesn’t fit my chair once it arrives?

You’ve got the 30-day money-back guarantee, which is exactly what that window is for. Sit on it for a week at your real desk before deciding, because the height adjustment takes a few days to get used to.
