The Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse Combo is worth buying if you want a full-size layout with a numpad that stays near-silent while you type. Three Bluetooth channels plus a 2.4G dongle, USB-C charging on both pieces, and a mouse just over half an inch thick. Skip it if you want loud mechanical clicks.

Typing Next to a Sleeping Baby
I’m a loud typist, the kind who wakes people up. I bought this specifically because I was working while my baby slept a room over, and I needed keystrokes that registered without broadcasting. This delivers: the low-travel membrane keys produce a soft thud instead of a click, quiet enough that I typed through two nap sessions without a single stir from down the hall. If you’ve ever had a coworker shoot you a look mid-meeting, you’ll feel the difference immediately. You can see it on Amazon here if quiet is the whole reason you’re shopping.
And it’s extremely responsive. You can type, go on the fly, and don’t have to worry about the keys lagging behind or anything like that.
Three Bluetooth Channels and a Dongle That Has a Home
Tri-mode here means three Bluetooth devices you can remember, plus the 2.4G dongle on top of that. The dongle clips right into the back of the keyboard, and there’s a second spot for it on the mouse too, which is really nice. Most combos give you one slot and then you lose it.
Swapping between systems runs off function key combos, and the manual tells you which ones. I pulled the dongle out of the keyboard, put it in the PC, hit function plus E to drop into Windows mode, swapped the mouse over too, and we were set up on the computer. Here’s the catch though: you have to swap the keyboard AND the mouse separately. It’s two steps, not one, and if you only do the keyboard you’ll be sitting there wondering why the cursor won’t move. That tripped me up for a second.
For the bluetooth keyboard and mouse crowd who bounce between a work laptop, a personal Mac and an Android tablet, that’s three saved channels covering all of it without re-pairing every time.
What the money buys against a cheaper combo
Rechargeable USB-C on both pieces is the line item most budget sets skip. No AA cycle. And if you forgot the included cord, you can take your power bank and plug it right in to give yourself a charge, which is a real thing when you’re working out of a coffee shop. The sets that still run on disposable batteries are typically the ones undercutting this on price, and you pay that difference back in AAs within a year.
Pricing-wise, it’s sitting right about where it’s been for the past three months, and that happens to be close to the lowest MVP has ever tracked it at. So you’re not waiting on a better window here. Current pricing is on the product page on Amazon.
The mouse punches above its weight. At just over half an inch thick it disappears under your palm, and the glide is smooth enough that I stopped noticing it, which is exactly what you want from a bundled mouse. The small button steps between two DPI modes, slow for precision work and fast for sweeping across a wide monitor. Two adjustable settings on a combo mouse at this price is more than most competitors bother with.
The Non-Slip Feet Do More Than You’d Think
The keyboard is thin, but it isn’t skating around the desk. There’s non-slip feet right along the bottom, so that way it won’t go sliding around as you’re typing. Thin boards are usually light boards, and light boards drift. This one stays put.
Long-term, the unknown on any slim rechargeable set is how the batteries hold up after a couple of years of charge cycles. I’ve been using this on my own setup and nothing’s given out, but I’m not going to tell you about a two-year result I haven’t lived through yet.
Where it sits next to the Logitech and Apple options
Where it sits next to the Logitech and Apple options
Design-wise, it copies the Magic Keyboard look, slim, clean, matched set, but adds a full numpad and bundled mouse that Apple and most Logitech combos skip. The design clearly borrows from the Magic Keyboard look, except you also get the full numpad and a bundled mouse in the same box. Logitech’s slim combos are the other obvious shelf-mate, and they’re well-built, though plenty of them still run on disposable batteries rather than USB-C.What you’re not getting is mechanical feel. No hot-swap switches, no RGB, no tall travel. That’s a deliberate trade: the low-noise, low-travel design trades typing drama for silence and a flat desk footprint. If you want clicky, this is the wrong aisle entirely.
Who should pick this up
Buy this if silence is non-negotiable and a numpad matters. Shared offices, back-to-back video calls, a baby down the hall, anywhere a loud keystroke causes a problem, this fits. The full-size layout with numpad also means accountants and anyone living in Excel don’t have to bolt on a separate accessory, which most slim quiet keyboards force you to do.
Gamers should look elsewhere. A low-profile membrane board with a half-inch mouse isn’t built for that, and the two-step device swap would drive you up a wall mid-match. Large hands may also find that very thin mouse sits lower than they’re used to.
Pros
- Extremely quiet keys, no loud clicky sensation while typing
- Extremely responsive, no key lag typing on the fly
- Tri-mode: three Bluetooth channels plus a 2.4G dongle, works across Windows, Mac and Android
- Dongle storage slot on both the keyboard and the mouse
- USB-C recharging on both pieces, cord included, power-bank friendly
- Two DPI modes on a mouse just over half an inch thick
Cons
- Switching systems is two separate steps, keyboard and mouse have to be swapped individually
- You need the manual to learn the function key combos for each OS
- No clicky feedback at all, which some typists want
- Very thin mouse profile may feel low to larger hands
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use this as a bluetooth keyboard for an iPad or tablet?
Over Bluetooth, yes, it pairs with tablets the same way it pairs with a laptop. The listing covers Mac, Windows and other supported Bluetooth devices, and I used it with Android. There’s no trackpad, so the mouse is doing the pointing work, and tablet mouse support varies by OS version.
Does it need an app or account to work?
No app, no account, no subscription. Everything including the DPI toggle and the OS switching runs off hardware keys and the button on the mouse. Pair it or plug the dongle in and you’re typing.
What happens if I lose the 2.4G dongle?
You fall back to Bluetooth, which covers three saved devices on its own. That’s the upside of tri-mode. There are dedicated storage spots on both the keyboard and the mouse specifically so the dongle doesn’t wander off in a bag.
Can I keep typing while it charges?
Yes, it’s USB-C, so you plug the included cord in and carry on. A power bank works just as well if you’re away from a desk outlet. That turns a dead battery into a minor inconvenience instead of a hunt for AAs.
