I’ve been tracking Dyson V8 pricing for a while now, and a drop of about 31% off on the Dyson V8™ Cordless Vacuum is the kind of move that’s worth flagging immediately.
The deal at a glance
The Dyson V8™ is sitting at about 31% off right now, which puts it well below where it typically sells.
There’s no expiration date tied to this, so I can’t tell you it’s gone tomorrow, but price drops like this don’t always stick.

Why this deal is worth your attention
The V8 is Dyson’s sweet spot for most households.
It’s not their flagship, but it’s not a stripped-down entry model either.
You get up to 40 minutes of fade-free suction on a single charge, which is a legitimate runtime for a cordless vacuum at this tier.
The Motorbar cleaner head handles carpets and hard floors without you having to swap attachments constantly, and it actively de-tangles long hair and pet hair from the brush bar while it cleans.
If your household has pets or anyone with long hair, that feature alone cuts down on the maintenance headache that plagues cheaper cordless vacuums.
The two cleaning modes give you real flexibility.
You can run on the lower setting to preserve battery life for routine passes, then kick it up when you hit a rug or a problem area.
The power trigger design means the motor only runs when you’re pulling it, so you’re not burning through the battery while you reposition yourself between rooms.
That’s smart engineering, and it adds up to a vacuum that actually lasts through a cleaning session rather than dying halfway through the living room.
Who this doesn’t fit: if you’ve got a very large multi-story home and you want to vacuum the whole thing top to bottom in one continuous run without swapping batteries, the V8’s 40-minute ceiling might feel tight.
And if you’re looking for a robot vacuum or something fully autonomous, this isn’t that.
But for someone who wants a lightweight, cordless stick vacuum that converts to a handheld for stairs, upholstery, and car interiors, the V8 at this price is a strong buy.
At about 31% off, you’re getting a vacuum that usually sits at a noticeably higher price point.
What you’re actually getting
- Up to 40 minutes of fade-free cordless runtime on a single charge
- Motorbar cleaner head that deep cleans carpets and hard floors and de-tangles long hair and pet hair from the brush bar automatically
- Two cleaning modes for flexible power depending on the surface and task
- Power trigger design that only draws power when you’re actively cleaning, extending battery life across a session
- Converts to a handheld for cars, stairs, and upholstery without separate tools
- Whole-machine filtration that captures fine dust and expels cleaner air throughout the house
Before you buy
A few things worth considering before you hit the button.
This is a cordless stick vacuum, which means it’s built for quick passes and targeted cleaning, not replacing a heavy-duty corded machine for deep carpet restoration.
The runtime is solid, but if your cleaning sessions routinely run long, you’ll want to factor in recharge time.
Amazon’s return window is typically 30 days for most categories, but double-check that at checkout since large appliances can sometimes have different terms depending on the seller.
If you’re someone who prefers a dedicated pet-specific vacuum with a larger dust bin for high-shedding situations, it’s worth comparing bin capacity across models before committing.
The V8 is a well-rounded vacuum, but it’s not going to be the right call for every single use case.
This is a regular price drop with no event or occasion attached, which means it could go back up any time without warning.
If the V8 has been on your radar, right now is a reasonable moment to act.
